PT. Bando Indonesia production facility is located on a 50,000 meter square land in Tangerang. The factory adopted its manufacturing technology from Bando Chemical Industry, Ltd. of Japan and began production in 1987 with an approximate annual capacity of 250,000 pieces power transmission belts. With the technical support from Bando Chemical Industry, Ltd. of Japan who has been producing conveyor belts since 1922, PT. Bando expanded its production to the conveyor line in 1995. At the present along with the conveyor line expansion, it has an approximate annual capacity of 14,000,000 pieces power transmission belts and 107,000 meters conveyor belts.
The factory has also acquired state-of-the-art laboratory and testing equipment; our highly qualified research personnel conducted research for all of our products to ensure strict quality control, through every stage of the manufacturing process, from raw materials laboratory testing through quality tests and inspections of finished products. The goal of these efforts is to strive for zero defects quality control.
Committed in providing customers with quality products, quality services and continuous improvement, PT. Bando Indonesia received certification ISO 9001:2000 certification in September 1996 has updated in September 2017, the ISO TS-2002 certification in March 2002 has updated in April 2018 become IATF 16949, OHSAS 18001:2007 in November 2013 has updated in January 2020 become ISO 45001, SMK3 Certification in July 2017, TKDN Certification in January 2018 has updated in April 2021 and SKK MIGAS Certification in January 2020. It also received the ISO 14001:2004 certification in March 2006, making it one of the few companies in the world to be awarded such certification. These awards certify the company complies with the highest standard of management and product quality.
